About this role
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React (Frontend) and Java (Backend). • Collaborate with Developers, DevOps, and Business Analysts. • Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs. • Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed. • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. • Improve code quality, maintainability, and reduce technical debt. • Maintain technical documentation. • Support technical design and architecture decisions. • Support and maintain business-critical applications. • Investigate and resolve production incidents. • Perform bug fixes, enhancements, and production deployments. • Monitor application health and ensure system stability. • Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams. Required Skills & Experience • 1–4 years of experience in Full-Stack Development and Application Support. • Strong experience in: React, Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data • Experience with: Microservices, REST APIs, Enterprise Applications, SQL Database Troubleshooting, Strong troubleshooting, bug fixing, and root cause analysis skills. • Experience with: Kafka / AWS MSK, AWS SQS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, AWS SDK • Experience with:Git / GitLab, Docker, Maven, SonarQube, CI/CD Pipelines, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot Test Soft Skills • Experience in Production Support and Incident Management. • Ability to analyze logs and resolve issues. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Exposure to AWS Cloud Services and Application Security. • Experience supporting Government sector applications. • Knowledge or experience with COBOL-based legacy applications is an advantage.
