About this role
Duties & Responsibilities This role is critical as part of the founding academic team for KKIS’s Advanced Level programme (July 2026 launch), requiring candidates who can both teach effectively and contribute to programme establishment. We are looking for 6 Part-Time Cambridge AS/A Level Teachers for the following 6 subjects: (English, Physics/ Biology / Environmental Management / Psychology / Accounting) Kindle Kids International School (KKIS) 1. Academic Delivery (Core Teaching Role) • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge International AS & A Level syllabus. • Teach subject-specific content effectively, ensuring conceptual clarity and exam readiness. • Develop structured lesson plans, schemes of work, and pacing guides for the first cohort (July 2026 intake). • Apply differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse student learning needs. 2. Assessment & Academic Progress Monitoring • Design and administer formative and summative assessments (tests, assignments, mock exams). • Prepare students for Cambridge examinations including paper techniques and time management. • Track and analyse student performance, providing data-driven feedback and intervention plans. • Maintain accurate academic records in alignment with school and Cambridge requirements. 3. Curriculum & Resource Development • Contribute to the development of teaching materials, worksheets, and revision resources. • Ensure all materials are aligned with latest Cambridge syllabus updates and marking schemes. • Support the establishment of a robust AS/A Level academic framework for KKIS’s first cohort. 4. Student Support & Engagement • Provide academic consultation and remedial support where required. • Mentor students on subject selection, university pathways, and career relevance (especially important for A-Level progression). • Encourage critical thinking, independent learning, and research skills. 5. Examination & Compliance Responsibilities • Ensure teaching practices meet Cambridge International standards and audit expectations. • Participate in internal moderation, exam preparation, and quality assurance processes. • Support school readiness for Cambridge inspections and academic audits. 6. Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with Head of School, Coordinators, and other subject teachers to ensure alignment across levels. • Participate in academic meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and coordination discussions. • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and management on academic progress and expectations. 7. Contribution to School Development (StrategicImportance – First Cohort) • Play an active role in establishing KKIS’s Cambridge A-Level programme as a new academic offering. • Contribute ideas for programme structure, subject combinations, and student recruitment positioning. • Support open houses, academic presentations, and marketing initiatives where required. 8. Professional Standards • Maintain high standards of professional conduct, punctuality, and teaching excellence. • Stay updated with Cambridge curriculum changes and subject advancements. • Uphold school policies, including PDPA, safeguarding, and academic integrity requirements. Minimum Experience Requirement (as aligned to yourcriteria) • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Cambridge AS/A Level or equivalent advanced level curriculum in one or more of the following subjects: English, Physics, Biology, Environmental Management, Psychology, and Accounting
