About this role

Join Riri’s Children Playloft, a boutique children’s toy museum and sanctuary for imagination. This is not a traditional classroom role. You will be the architect of wonder, designing and leading bespoke sessions for children ranging from 18 months to 6 years old. We are seeking a confident and charismatic communicator who can command a room—whether it’s an intimate sensory session for toddlers or a large-scale excursion for preschoolers. Employment Note: This is initially a Part-Time role with the potential to convert into a Full-Time position as our school partnership programmes expand. This includes developing physical or digital learning materials (e.g., discovery trails, "learning journey" booklets, activity sheets, or teacher guides) that complement the museum experience. • Age-Appropriate Programming: Develop and refine play-based learning across the early childhood spectrum. • Expert Facilitation: Comfortably lead and present to groups of all sizes. Facilitate intimate sessions for families as well as large-scale museum tours and classes for visiting preschool cohorts (up to 80 children). • Resource Management: Curate and maintain our premium wooden toy collection to ensure an inviting, high-aesthetic environment. Requirements• Education: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in preschool education or museum facilitation. • Content Creation Skills: Experience in developing age-appropriate educational materials. • Versatility: Proven ability to adapt teaching methods and language complexity based on the specific age group (18mo to 6yo). • Presentation Skills: Must be a confident public speaker. Ability to engage large groups of children and adults with high energy and professional poise. • Pedagogical Knowledge: Familiarity with the NEL Framework and the Grow Well SG health plan.
