Job Details: • Contract Duration: 12 Months • Location: Eunos • Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm Job Purpose The test analyst will support product launch testing to further strengthen the team’s function as enablers to link the business operational needs to IT in ensuring their objectives are met in the most efficient and effective method. The Job • Understand and assess the entire testing life cycle for Product implementation and the core life operating system including end-to-end quality checks. • To perform user acceptance testing for product launches and product enhancements in accordance to business and operational requirements. • To ensure proper closure of the entire testing process within the stipulated timeline and to report to the Supervisor of any issues • To properly document and file testing artefacts and documents into retrievable repositories. • To prepare test data, monitor testing progress and to log defects. • Ensure proper closure of the entire testing process within stipulated timelines. • Escalate gaps and defects or issues discovered during the course of executing the various test scenarios to the Supervisor and/or the Project’s UAT Test Managers and ensure correct reporting, analysis and resolution is obtained from IT. • Work with Supervisor and/or the Project’s UAT Test Managers and IT in coordinating the execution of the agreed test conditions within the overall planned timeline. • Perform product and policy parameter configurations in various systems within the overall project timeline. • To provide support for post implementation issues. • To assist in training documentation for internal staff. • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks. • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company. • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices. Our Requirements • Polytechnic diploma / University Degree. • 1 year of working experience with insurance knowledge will be an advantage. • Preference for IT or Business related educational background. • Strong problem solving and good analytical skills. • Strong attention to details. • Good time management and the ability to work to tight time schedules. • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork. • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
