About this role
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical works on site. • Coordinate mechanical services including ACMV, chilled water system, ventilation, plumbing and sanitary systems, fire protection, fuel systems, and other related M&E works. • Review construction drawings, technical submissions, method statements, material submissions, and shop drawings. • Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedule, and quality requirements. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to resolve technical and site coordination issues. • Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and technical discussions. • Prepare progress reports, site records, inspection requests, and relevant project documentation. • Assist in material planning, procurement follow-up, and delivery coordination to support construction schedule. • Ensure all mechanical works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. • Assist in managing subcontractors’ work progress, quality, and manpower deployment. • Identify potential site issues or delays and highlight to the project team for timely resolution. • Support the handover process, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and close-out documentation. JOBREQUIREMENTS • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent • At least 2 years relevant experience in construction, M&E, building services, • Good knowledge of mechanical systems such as ACMV, chilled water, ventilation, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems. • Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents. • Ability to interact effectively with project teams and managers at all levels.
