The OpportunityWe're looking for a Project Engineer — Molding on a 2-year contract to develop and validate new injection molding processes using scientific molding principles. You'll lead machine qualification end-to-end and play a key role in bringing new tooling and equipment from design review through to production handover. What You'll Do• Develop new injection molding processes using scientific molding principles • Lead complete IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for new machines • Troubleshoot molding processes to mitigate defects and improve efficiency during validation • Participate in design reviews of new tooling and equipment with internal and external teams • Drive project progress reviews with internal and external stakeholders • Prepare complete and accurate records and documentation per quality system and validation guidelines • Develop and leverage product knowledge to ensure Critical Quality Attributes (CQTs) are consistently met • Establish standardised handover procedures for the production team What You'll Bring• Minimum high school diploma required; degree in Plastics Engineering or Scientific Molding Certification preferred • Preferred 5+ years' experience in medical device molding and manufacturing • Working knowledge of validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) • Technical expertise in injection molding — DFM of molds, thermoplastic processing, robotics, and hot runner systems • Comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for injection molding processes, machines, robots, and auxiliaries Why BD?• Purpose-Driven — Every product you help bring to life impacts patient care globally • Career Growth — Development programmes and internal mobility across 190+ countries • Award-Winning Culture — Recognised as a Great Place to Work® in Singapore Ready to make a difference?
