NIE invites applications for the position of part time Project Officer at half-time commitment (21 hours per week). This is a contract position for 9 months. Responsibilities • Provide administrative and operational support to the Principal Investigator (PI), including coordination of project timelines, documentation, reporting, and liaison with relevant institutional stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation. • Support the design, configuration, testing, and iterative refinement of the AI Assessment Evaluator as a technology-enabled learning tool, with a focus on prompt design, alignment to predefined learner profiles, and quality assurance of AI-generated outputs for pedagogical use. • Systematically document and synthesise guidelines for prompt writing and knowledge-base specification, distilling transferable guidelines that enable instructors from other subject areas to adapt and implement similar AI-supported assessment literacy tools. • Oversee project data management processes, including the organisation, anonymisation, and secure storage of student artefacts, reflections, and evaluation data, in accordance with NIE policies and ethical requirements. • Coordinate the collection and organisation of student artefacts, student reflections, and instructor reflections to support formative evaluation and iterative improvement of the C3R learning model. • Support the project team in analysing and synthesising evaluation data, with particular attention to evidence of assessment literacy development, learner engagement, and the usability of the AI-supported C3R process. • Contribute to the preparation of project deliverables, including the C3R implementation guide, documentation of the AI Assessment Evaluator (with prompt-writing and knowledge-base guidelines), and the final project evaluation report, to support scalability and reuse across NIE courses. • Perform other project-related duties as required to support effective project delivery and knowledge sharing. Requirements • A University degree, preferably in Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, Data Science, Communication, or a related field. • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively. • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary research and development team. • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation, reports, and project materials clearly and professionally. • Interest in educational innovation, AI-supported learning, assessment literacy, or technology-enhanced learning in higher education. • Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar large language models) and an interest in prompt design, testing, and evaluation. • Familiarity with AI application development platforms such as Dify, including workflow configuration, prompt orchestration, knowledge-base integration, and chatbot/application setup, will be advantageous. • Candidates with experience or interest in supporting the development, testing, and refinement of AI chatbots or AI-assisted learning tools are encouraged to apply. • Experience with data organisation, data management, or handling research/project documentation in a systematic and confidential manner. • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy in documentation, data handling, and quality assurance processes. • Prior experience in educational research, learning analytics, instructional design, project management, or technology-enabled learning projects will be an advantage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and collaborative digital tools. • Candidates with relevant internship, research assistantship, or project coordination experience are encouraged to apply.
