Research Associate (Cryptography and Automated Cryptanalysis)

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in the Mathematical Sciences and Physics. It consists of over 70 faculty members, 50 administrative staff, 180 research staff, 750 undergraduates pursuing our degree programmes, and 230 postgraduate students. In order to complete the Temasek Labs research project “CRATOL - Cryptanalysis with Tools Development”, the school is looking to recruit one research associate on cryptography and automated cryptanalysis. Key Responsibilities: • The candidate will conduct research implementations on cryptography, automated cryptanalysis and machine learning • The candidate will help preparing reports and presentations for the project • The candidate will publish relevant results to cryptography and/or machine learning conferences/journals Job Requirements: • MSc in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Expertise in automated cryptanalysis is a strong plus • Expertise in machine learning is a strong plus We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
