Research Associate (Engineering / Material Science/ Chemistry)

We are looking for a Research Associate to support the research for the project titled “The Self-healing Cement Additive and Its Applications”. The role will focus on carrying out research according to the proposed milestones. Key Responsibilities: • The Research Associate (RA) will work on a project to develop self-healing cement additive and explore its applications in concrete materials and structures. • The RA should have previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX). Job Requirements: • Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field • Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals • Strong references from previous supervisors • Good written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
