The Community Psychology Hub (CPH) is dedicated to improving people’s lives through innovative, quality psychological and research services. We work in active collaboration with partners in the social service and public sector to provide care for persons with vulnerabilities alongside their families in the community. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2015, we are a unit sited within SG Enable Ltd, a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character. Overview Our team of researchers specialises in policy support, programme evaluation, implementation science, and continuous quality improvement research to improve services and outcomes for persons with diverse needs, including persons with disabilities and vulnerable populations. We partner closely with government agencies, service providers and implementation teams on funded research projects that evaluate social services programmes and generate evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice improvements. As a Research Associate/Psychologist with CPH, you will collaborate closely with your supervisor and a dynamic team of researchers in one or more projects. For this position you are expected to support the Project Principal Investigator and Department Head in the conduct of research activities. Responsibilities • Coordinate and lead a team of researchers in research projects that support services for children and/or adults with diverse needs • Participate in the entire research cycle • Contribute to the management of the project by working together with the relevant project managers & project leads that lead to the following outcomes: • Track and report project progress to funders every quarterly. • Provide regular project updates to team and key stakeholders (e.g., senior management), ensuring the smooth running of the project. • Ensure team’s compliance to projects protocols and guidelines. • Ensure team’s adherence to project timelines and deliverables are delivered as planned. • Ensure team’s adherence to data confidentiality, data storage and security. • Draft and prepare documents for ethics clearance. • Plan project budget and coordinate procurement of resources and other logistics relevant to the project. • Risk management & develop solutions • Proactive in risk management to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Monitor project risks and proactively address challenges to prevent delays or project failure. • Promote a solution-oriented mindset within the team to overcome barriers in the project. • Data management and dissemination of research findings • Involve in data collection, clarification and analyses. • Prepare, translate project results to policies/programmes for stakeholders. • Present written reports or presentations to funders and stakeholders. • Draft and prepare manuscripts, abstracts & presentation for publications, conferences, funders & stakeholders. • Provide and share research training & consultancy internally and externally • Curate training plan for team members to promote upskill and staff capability building. • Provide supervision, guidance & support to other team members in day-to-day work. • Share relevant knowledge and skills at the department & organisational level. • Other responsibilities • Provide logistical and administrative supports for meetings, workgroups, or site visits. • Minutes taking during meetings and timely sharing with team members. • Draft, prepare and submit reports or other deliverables as required promptly. • Build and maintain good rapports with internal and external stakeholders. • Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Leadership Team. • Professional development • Attend CPH endorsed training/workshops/seminars to develop relevant knowledge and skills. • Apply and share relevant knowledge and skills from training/workshops/seminars. Requirements 1. Educational qualifications • An accredited master’s degree in Psychological Research, Quantitative Psychology, Statistics or Data Science. 2. Knowledge & Experience in the following areas: • Large scale research experience as senior project member • Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management and leading a team of researchers would be considered for supervisory duties. • Prior working experience in implementation & evaluation (e.g., process, outcomes) sciences, measurement, data analyses & project management, mixed methods research methodology would be advantageous. • Familiar with statistics & statistical programmes (e.g., using R or/& Python for longitudinal data analysis, multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling, advanced regression models, multi-sample hypothesis tests). • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office and qualitative research software (e.g., nVivo, Atlas.TI). • Experience with online survey administration platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, FormSG) will be an advantage. • Experience with facilitation of focus group discussion & thematic analysis will be an advantage. 3.
