The Community Psychology Hub (CPH) is dedicated to improving people’s lives through innovative, quality psychological and research services. We work in active collaboration with partners in the social service and public sector to provide care for persons with vulnerabilities alongside their families in the community. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2015, we are a unit sited within SG Enable Ltd, a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character. Overview Our team of researchers specialises in policy support, programme evaluation, implementation science, and continuous quality improvement research to improve services and outcomes for persons with diverse needs, including persons with disabilities and vulnerable populations. We partner closely with government agencies, service providers and implementation teams on funded research projects that evaluate social services programmes and generate evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice improvements. As a Research Officer with CPH, you will collaborate closely with your supervisor and a dynamic team of researchers. You will play a key role in supporting and conducting research activities that drive meaningful change and improve services for those who need it most. This role would be for a 1-year non-renewable temporary contract. Responsibilities 1. Participate in the entire research cycle of the project • Conduct literature review • Plan and implement measures to investigate the research questions • Develop and prepare project-related documents, materials and resources • Maintain proper documentation of research processes, decisions and changes • Ensure compliance with research governance and ethics requirements • Data collection, data management, analyses (incl. interpretations and explanations), etc • Synthesising findings into clear insights and recommendations 2. Translate project results into actionable insights • Draft, prepare and present written reports or presentations to funders and stakeholders • Support evidence-informed decision making for policy and programme improvement 3. Other responsibilities • Provide logistical and administrative supports for meetings, workgroups, or site visits • Minutes taking during meetings and timely sharing with team members • Draft, prepare and submit reports or other deliverables as required promptly • Build and maintain good rapports with internal and external stakeholders • Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Leadership Team 4. Professional development • Attend CPH endorsed training/workshops/seminars to develop relevant knowledge and skills • Apply and share relevant knowledge and skills from training/workshops/seminars • Engage in peer support and knowledge sharing to other team members Requirements 1. Educational qualifications • A recognised Bachelor (with Honours) in Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or Implementation and Evaluation Science, or related disciplines. 2. Knowledge & Experience • Fresh graduates for entry level. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in carrying out research projects is preferred for a senior position. • Prior working experience in implementation & evaluation (e.g., process, outcomes) sciences, measurement, data analyses & project management, mixed methods research methodology would be advantageous. • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office, statistical programmes (e.g., SPSS, JASP, R, Python) and qualitative research software (e.g., nVivo, Atlas.TI). • Experience with online survey administration platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, FormSG) will be an advantage. • Experience with facilitation of focus group discussion & thematic analysis will be an advantage. 3.
