About this role
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nanyang Technological University is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. It has over 60 faculty members and more than 1,500 students and is rapidly expanding its range of education and research activities. We are looking for a Research Fellow to develop innovative geophysical imaging methods and applying it to underground exploration and relevant disciplinaries Key Responsibilities: • Develop novel imaging algorithms and validate them through synthetic experiments • Extend these methods to real-world experiments to address practical challenges • Publish high-impact research articles in leading international journals • Assist in the preparation and development of competitive research proposals • Support the supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students Job Requirements: • PhD’s degree in exploration seismology, applied geophysics, or related field • At least 3 years of relevant experience in geophysical modeling and inversion • Familiarity with related literature and software • Good written and oral communication skills • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
