Part-Time Reservations CoordinatorPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Part-Time Reservations Coordinator to support the Reservations team in handling room reservations, guest enquiries, reservation administration, and data management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate reservation processing, delivering exceptional guest service, and supporting revenue optimisation efforts through efficient reservation operations. Key Responsibilities• Process, enter, and update reservation details accurately in the hotel reservation system. • Handle booking amendments, cancellations, room requests, and guest profile updates in a timely manner. • Process reservations received through various channels, including direct bookings, email enquiries, online travel agents (OTAs), travel agents, corporate accounts, and internal referrals. • Verify reservation information, including room availability, rates, payment details, and guest preferences to ensure accuracy. • Maintain accurate reservation records, documentation, and filing systems. • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries relating to reservations, room availability, rates, and hotel services. • Assist with room allocation requests, special arrangements, and booking modifications to ensure a seamless guest experience. • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to facilitate smooth guest arrivals and stays. • Support the Reservations team in monitoring reservation trends and identifying opportunities to maximise room revenue. • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, reservation procedures, data protection requirements, and service standards. • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned. Job Requirements• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reservation processing. • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong team-player mentality. Qualifications• Diploma, Degree, or currently pursuing studies in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. • No prior hotel experience is required. Training will be provided. • Students, fresh graduates, and individuals seeking part-time administrative or hospitality experience are encouraged to apply. • Previous experience in reservations, customer service, administration, hospitality, or data entry will be an advantage. • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems, Property Management Systems (PMS), Opera Cloud, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
