Resident Engineer (C&S) - Water Treatment Project | 5.5 Days - West [DAPH]

Duration: 12 months (renewable) Location: Tuas (Tuas Nexus) Working hours: 5.5 days or alternate Sat Bonus: 1 gratuity bonus Our client is an MNC Consultancy in the water and wastewater industry. With more than 100-year heritage, helping companies across the globe efficiently and effectively collect, store, move and treat water and wastewater, plan and manage watersheds and harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water. Roles and Responsibilities: • Assist Lead Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties • Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications • Enforce compliance to specifications, national regulations, local Authorities’ requirements, Singapore Standards and good industry practices • Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors • Review and comment on Contractors’ submissions, prepare and follow-up on comments closed out • Oversee inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts • Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities’ requirements • Compile site progress status and photos into PowerPoint slides and present to Client during progress meetings with Client • Attend weekly site safety inspections or ad-hoc inspections • Prepare and manage the RTO duty rosters and disseminate to RSS C&S Team and contractors • Check and sign the IRFs (inspection request forms) prior to inspection and manage the IRF closures Requirements: • Degree in Civil Engineering • Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore • At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilizing structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works Interestedcandidate please click "APPLY" to begin your job search journey andsubmit your CV directly through the official PERSOL job application platform -GO Mobile.
