About this role
• Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge required to perform job duties effectively. • Identify gaps in corporate HSE initiatives as well as local health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Promote and integrate a strong HSE culture into all business processes. • Ensure confidentiality and maintain records in compliance with corporate data protection and retention standards. • Stop work immediately and report any major injury hazards. • Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards through internal reporting processes. • Act as an HSE resource by providing guidance on internal site processes. • Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation, and risk assessment processes, including delivering training. • Assist in closing corrective and preventive actions. • Promote HSE awareness through effective communication. • Coordinate environmental management activities. • Perform administrative duties as required. • Participate in HSE inspections and audit programs. • Lead and support incident investigations and reporting. • Assist in analyzing HSE trends and performance data. • Act Maintain and update local HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. • Support health, safety, environmental, and wellness initiatives. • Assist in implementing and maintaining Emergency Response processes, including training delivery. • Participate in employee engagement activities to foster a proactive and interdependent safety culture. • Adhere to all standard work procedures, process documentation, and quality requirements. • Identify and escalate issues to minimize cost and quality risks. • Perform quality checks and inspections. • Identify and control non-conforming materials. • Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional support teams. • Complete training and personal development in line with business needs. • Actively contribute to initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee engagement.
