About this role
Customer Reservations & Booking Management • Manage restaurant reservations through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and online booking platforms to ensure accurate booking records. • Confirm, modify, and cancel reservations promptly according to customer requests. • Organize waiting lists and efficiently accommodate walk-in guests. • Record guest details, special requests, and dining preferences accurately to enhance customer experience. Customer Communication • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries to provide clear and helpful information. • Coordinate pre-orders, special menus, celebrations, and dietary requirements with guests to meet their needs. • Provide detailed information on menu items, promotions, operating hours, and restaurant policies. • Follow up on reservation confirmations and send reminders to ensure guest attendance. Seating & Table Management • Plan and arrange seating to optimize restaurant capacity and improve guest satisfaction. • Allocate tables based on reservation schedules and specific guest requirements. • Monitor dining flow and adjust seating arrangements to maintain smooth operations. • Collaborate with service staff to facilitate seamless guest arrivals and departures. • Manage guest check-in and verify reservations accurately. • Address guest feedback and escalate issues to management when necessary. Administrative Duties • Maintain accurate reservation records and update the customer database regularly. • Prepare daily reservation reports and compile guest lists for operational use. • Update booking systems to ensure all information is current and reliable. • Assist management with additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned. Coordination & Operations • Liaise with kitchen and service teams to communicate pre-orders and special requests effectively. • Support the planning and execution of events, group bookings, and private functions. • Uphold excellent customer service standards consistently throughout all interactions. Required competencies and certifications • Proficient in English (spoken and written). • Proficiency in other languages will be an advantage. Preferred competencies and qualifications • Customer service-oriented • Excellent communication skills • Organized and detail-oriented • Strong multitasking ability • Proficient in WhatsApp and basic computer applications • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Professional and pleasant personality • Experience in hospitality or reservations is an advantage but not required.
