RTO (part time / full time)

We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise construction works on site and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and authority requirements. Responsibilities• Carry out daily site supervision and inspection of construction works. • Check workmanship, materials, dimensions, levels and setting out against approved drawings and specifications. • Witness and record site inspections, tests and material checks. • Monitor contractor’s progress, quality and compliance with project requirements. • Maintain proper site records, inspection reports, daily reports and photographic records. • Highlight discrepancies, defects, unsafe practices and non-compliant works to the Resident Engineer / Qualified Person / Project Team. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel. • Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements and site documentation where required. • Ensure rectification works are properly carried out and verified before closure. Requirements• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building or related discipline. • Registered / accredited RTO with IES-ACES will be an advantage. • Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in building or civil engineering projects. • Good knowledge of construction drawings, site practices and authority requirements. • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams. • Responsible, detail-oriented and committed to site quality and safety.
