About this role
If you're selling furniture and wondering if there's something more interesting out there — read on. You're good at what you do. You understand product, you can read a customer, and you know how to close. But maybe you're selling pieces that end up in a room without really solving anything. At Spaceman, every sale genuinely changes how someone lives. We're Singapore's leader in space-saving furniture — murphy beds, sofa beds, multifunction and extendable dining tables, kids beds and designer storage beds. Our customers are typically new homeowners wrestling with small flats, and when we get it right, we don't just sell them a bed. We give them back a room. Why this is a better sales role • The product has a story. Space-saving furniture sells itself to the right customer — your job is matching the right solution to the right person, not pushing product • You're a consultant, not a counter assistant. Conversations here are substantive. Customers come in with a problem and leave with a plan • Commission that reflects real effort. Good performance is rewarded directly • Small team, real visibility. Your contribution is noticed and your input matters • A product nobody else in Singapore does quite like us What the role involves You'll manage the full sales cycle from first enquiry to close — in showroom, online, and by phone. You'll consult with customers on their space and lifestyle, recommend the right configuration from our range, and use simple 3D tools (SketchUp or similar) to visualise proposals when helpful. You'll manage your own pipeline, follow up consistently, and work toward clear sales targets. Weekends are our busiest days — this role requires weekend availability. What we're looking for • Current or recent experience selling mid- to high-end furniture • A genuine interest in interiors and how people use their homes • Strong listening and communication skills — you ask good questions • Organised and self-motivated enough to manage your own follow-up • Interior design background or qualification is a plus, but not a dealbreaker • Good English; another language is a bonus Interested? Send your CV and if it's a good fit we will arrange an informal chat.
