Position: Sales Manager Job Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and overseeing sales strategies within the marine and ship supply sector. The role involves identifying business opportunities, understanding client requirements, and delivering tailored solutions to meet operational needs in the maritime industry. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales Growth • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime industry • Prospect and acquire new clients including ship owners, operators, and offshore companies • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business 2. Client Management & Account Servicing • Manage existing customer accounts and ensure high level of satisfaction • Understand client requirements and propose suitable marine supply solutions • Handle enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups to close sales 3. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the marine industry • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase market share 4. Coordination & Operations Alignment • Work closely with procurement and operations team to ensure timely delivery of supplies • Ensure accuracy of orders, pricing, and delivery timelines • Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer expectations 5. Reporting & Performance Tracking • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports • Monitor sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue performance • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Maritime, or related field • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales, preferably B2B or marine-related industry • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to build and maintain client relationships • Self-driven and results-oriented
