Job Summary Drive business growth by independently generating and converting leads into sales within Singapore’s construction, process, and engineering sectors. Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and deliver value-based solutions to support company profitability and long-term success. Responsibilities • Generate new sales leads independently to expand business opportunities • Convert leads into confirmed sales by identifying customer needs and proposing tailored solutions • Negotiate and close sales deals effectively while managing objections, price pressure, and difficult customers • Manage long sales cycles with disciplined follow-up to secure business • Protect company profit margins by applying strong commercial judgment and selling on value, quality, reliability, safety, and service • Understand Singapore’s construction, process, industrial, engineering, and project services markets to align sales strategies • Analyze project scopes, site requirements, manpower, safety, and schedules to tailor service proposals • Navigate tendering processes, quotations, project costing, contract terms, and payment terms to support sales activities • Build trust and maintain professional communication with clients at all organizational levels including directors, project managers, engineers, purchasers, and site personnel • Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships to secure repeat business and manage expectations professionally • Prepare professional sales proposals, emails, quotations, and presentations to clearly communicate company services • Explain technical and service-related information simply and convincingly in English • Understand pricing, costing, margins, discounts, payment terms, and profitability to avoid underquoting and high-risk contracts • Review contract terms to identify commercial risks and negotiate payment milestones, credit terms, variation orders, and additional works • Support management in preparing sales budgets and revenue forecasts • Work independently with self-motivation, discipline, and target-driven focus • Plan weekly sales activities and client visits to meet sales targets and drive business growth • Guide junior sales staff or coordinators when required, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills • Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Workspace, and CRM software to maintain accurate customer records, pipeline reports, and sales documents • Utilize LinkedIn, online tender platforms, company databases, and digital tools for lead generation and sales tracking • Maintain strong documentation and reporting discipline to support sales operations Preferred competencies and qualifications • Ability to speak Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or other languages to enhance communication with diverse clients in Singapore
