SAP Application Consultant

Responsibilities: • Support SAP (FICO,MM, AP, Ariba) & budgeting systems • Ensuring assigned applications are well managed with minimal downtime or disruption to the business users. • Ensuring continuous enhancements and upgrades are aligned with technology roadmap of these applications. • Managing enhancement and change request and ensuring internal processes are followed. • Managing vendor performance ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) are met (where applicable), ensuring investments are monitored and optimized. • Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to foster collaboration and transparency. • Pro-actively engaging and building strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, external partners and technology solution providers. • Gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve applications and services. • Evaluating business asks and needs, and translating them into detailed, unambiguous functional and non-functional requirements. • Partnering with different IT stakeholders across infrastructure, compliance and cybersecurity to deliver system solutions. • Identifying and proposing areas for improvement from process or system perspective throughout course of engagement with operations. • Improving business efficiencies through the introduction of automation and value engineering. • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
