This role is designed for a proactive individual who focuses on system-level administration and strategic problem-solving rather than basic operational tasks. You will be responsible for the health, security, and integrity of complex SAP landscapes. • System Health & Monitoring: Perform proactive SAP system health checks and monitor critical components (application servers, databases, background jobs) to resolve issues before they impact business operations. • Security & Authorizations: Manage complex user authorizations, roles, and security policies, ensuring strict compliance with organizational standards. • Transport Management: Coordinate SAP transport management activities across development, quality, and production systems. • Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze system logs, update queues, and spool requests to identify and resolve the root causes of technical issues. • Lifecycle Management: Participate in kernel updates, patch applications, system copies, and upgrades with minimal supervision. • Collaborative Support: Work closely with ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams to resolve advanced technical challenges. • Audit & Compliance: Support audit readiness (e.g., SOX) and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) to ensure system security. • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, incident resolutions, and authorization designs. skills and experience required• Experience Level: Open to fresh graduates (with relevant studies in TA, network, or infrastructure) or junior professionals with up to 2 years of experience. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline. • Core Basis Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, Transport Management System (TMS), and client landscape concepts. • Security Mastery: In-depth knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, roles, profiles, and user management best practices. • Technical Toolset: Hands-on experience with PFCG, SU01/SU10, and authorization trace analysis tools (ST01, SU53). • Monitoring & Tuning: Experience with SAP monitoring tools (e.g., Solution Manager, CCMS) and a focus on proactive system performance tuning. • Infrastructure Familiarity: Experience with databases (HANA, Oracle) and operating systems (Linux, Windows) is highly preferred. • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle advanced technical scenarios and document resolutions clearly. • Nice to Have: Prior experience with SAP system installation or migration is a strong advantage.
