YOUR NEW JOBAs a Security Implementation Engineer, you’ll support the deployment and integration of network security solutions for a telco client. You’ll work across implementation, testing, and post-deployment support, ensuring systems are stable, secure, and aligned to design. This is a 12-month contract role (renewable), working Mon-Fri office hours. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING• Implement and configure network security solutions based on approved designs • Build and deploy firewall configurations and security policies • Support integration, provisioning, and testing of security platforms • Validate system performance and troubleshoot technical issues • Provide post-deployment (BAU) support for security environments • Work with project teams, vendors, and client stakeholders • Prepare technical documentation (config guides, runbooks, troubleshooting) • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams and clients WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU• Prior experience working in telco environments (must-have) • Hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) • 5 years of experience in network / security engineering roles • Hands-on experience with firewalls, routing, and network security concepts • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and security architecture • Experience in implementation, integration, and troubleshooting • Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT• Experience supporting large-scale or service provider environments • Exposure to security best practices and enterprise deployments • • Chinese proficiency for internal & external stakeholder communication • Ability to handle both project implementation and BAU support
