About this role
Role & Mission Support the critical initial phase of package system implementation projects at financial institutions, covering front, middle, and back-office operations. Quickly understand current business processes and system environments, and act as a bridge between business and IT to organize and drive practical and realistic implementation approaches. Main Responsibilities • Understand current business processes, data structures, and manual operations (through on-site interviews and hands-on observation) • Support implementation of core banking/wealth management packages (Avaloq or Olympic) from the client’s perspective • Organize and analyze fit/gap between business requirements and package functionalities • Facilitate coordination and communication among business units, internal stakeholders, and vendors • Support issue identification and consensus building across front, middle, and back office • Assist in decision-making by organizing risks, issues, and options • Contribute to the creation and review of the implementation roadmap, especially for the initial phase Required Experience & Skills • Experience in business operations at financial institutions, especially with core or package-based system implementations • Practical experience with Avaloq or Olympic(implementation, requirements definition, functional improvement, operational support, etc.) • Broad understanding of business processes across front, middle, and back office • Experience on the client side (PM, PMO, BA, or similar roles), not as a vendor • Ability to prepare RFQ/RFP documents • Ability to work effectively in multinational and multicultural environments • Business-level English (meetings, documentation, stakeholder coordination) • Willingness to work on-site in CBD area, Singapore. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in private banking, wealth management, or securities systems • Experience working in environments with limited head office support, such as overseas or regional offices • Demonstrated ability to proactively and constructively engage without relying on vendors • Ability to structure and move forward in situations with high uncertainty Contract & Engagement • Work style: On-site (Singapore) • Contract type: • Initial short-term contract (several months)for fit and suitability assessment • Renewable annual contract upon successful fit Key Success Factors (Expected Attitude) • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly gain trust on-site • Commitment with a sense of ownership, not just short-term engagement • Focus on execution rather than just theory or methodology • Ability to grasp cross-organizational situations and communicate clearly • Experience in Project Management
