Role Description: This attachment reports to the Business Development Manager and interfaces with Operations, Engineering, and Finance. The trainee will learn end-to-end B2B business development across semiconductor, medical, aerospace, energy and CNC machining sectors, including market analysis, pipeline building, solution selling, proposal development, and CRM hygiene to support strategic revenue growth. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Identify and qualify prospects; build pipeline and manage through CRM. 2. Conduct market/competitor analysis; prepare market-entry and investment proposals. 3. Lead discovery with customers; scope requirements with engineering; draft quotations. 4. Drive opportunities to close; forecast and report performance. 5. Represent company at industry/networking events. Technical Skills and Competencies: • B2B solution selling and opportunity management (MEDDICC/SPIN or equivalent). • Market and financial analysis for investment/business cases. • CRM usage (lead, opportunity, quotation tracking). • Stakeholder management and executive communication. • Sector knowledge: polymer & semiconductor processes; CNC/precision manufacturing basics.
