Senior Consolidation Accountant (6 Months Maternity Cover), Up $7K Working Location: Pasir Panjang Working Hours: 9AM - 6.00PM Purpose of the Job • Consolidate all the subsidiary accounts into one financials • Prepare consolidated financial reports for the Board or Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other Finance teams (Management Reporting/Treasury etc), and reporting to Group Finance • Closing of investment holding entities’ books Key Accountabilities • Prepare consolidated financial reports for the Board or ELT • Closing of investment holding entities’ books • Ensure timely and quality closure of financial books and consolidation at period end in accordance with corporate requirements and propose any continuous improvement measures to optimise the process • Provide guidance to the Regional Finance team members on accounting issues in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, policies and procedures • Monitor the control within the group in order to be in compliance with internal and external requirements on a routine basis • Review new accounting changes and propose any changes to policies and procedures as they relate to accounting/finance issues • Ensure group compliance at month-end and propose any continuous improvement measures to optimise the process • Manage the opening and closing of the groups accounts and propose any continuous improvement measures to optimise the process • Perform monthly group consolidation and year end group consolidation and propose any continuous improvement measures to optimise the process, including review of impairment assessment • Assist the closure of applicable audit issues raised by external and internal auditors • To comply with Company’s policies and Code of Conduct and Business Ethics (CoBE) • Any other duties as assigned from time to time Qualifications • Degree in Accountancy • Qualified with a professional financial body (ICAEW / ICPA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA etc) • 3-5 years in General Accounting and Group Consolidation, with Group Consolidation preferred
