About the Role We are hiring an experienced lawyer to join as Senior/ Legal Director in-house, leading a small legal team supporting a regulated organisation with complex, high-stakes matters. This role suits a senior disputes lawyer who enjoys combining dispute strategy and court work, practical legal advisory, and people leadership, while partnering senior stakeholders to deliver clear, risk-balanced solutions. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer and work closely with corporate and operational stakeholders on contentious matters, governance issues, and key organisational decisions. Key Responsibilities• Lead and mentor a small legal team: set priorities, supervise delivery, develop capability, and maintain high standards • Oversee disputes and court strategy: early case assessment, evidence approach, submissions strategy, settlement options, and managing external counsel where needed • Provide strategic legal advice: guide stakeholders on administrative, governance, and corporate matters with practical, solution-oriented recommendations • Strengthen dispute avoidance and response: improve playbooks, templates, and internal processes to reduce escalation risk and drive consistency • Partner across teams: translate legal risk into workable options and support confident decision-making What We’re Looking For• Admitted to the Singapore Bar with strong academic credentials • 10+ years PQE with a strong foundation in disputes/litigation and confident advisory capability • Demonstrated people leadership experience (managing, mentoring, developing talent) • Strong judgment, drafting, and stakeholder management skills • Comfortable handling sensitive matters under pressure with professionalism and discretion How to ApplyPlease share your CV and a short note outlining your PQE, disputes focus, and team management experience.
