Senior Manager, Contract & Claims (M/LC)

Responsibilities • Reports to and assist the AVP, Claims in managing contracts and claims for IWMF Project in the Environmental Engineering Services Department. • Drafting contractual letters and formulation of claims for Variation Orders, EOT and Loss & Expense to Client • Drafting contractual letters and formulation of claims to consortium partners • Liaise with various internal departments to collate relevant documents for substantiation of claims including claim consultant / delay analyst engaged by the company. • Liaise with internal / external law firm(s) and claims consultant(s) with regards to the company’s on-going disputes with its clients and partners. • Update and maintain existing claim register to track company’s claims against the client, consortium partners (if any), vendors and vice versa and regularly update the project team of its status. • Ensure that all Notice of Claims and/or Further and Better Particulars are submitted to the client timely and in accordance with the contract. • Attend all internal and external meetings as may be required by the company Requirements • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 3 years of working experience as Contracts Manager with experience in Contractual Claims defence (Not Just Submitting Payment Claims) • Experience working for Main Contractors undertaking Design & Build / Turn-Key projects in Singapore. • Able to work independently and be a good team player as well as being proactive and articulate. • Possess good people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients • Willing to be assigned at site in Tuas. • Knowledge of the PSSCOC and SOP Act • Good to have experience: • Experience in Adjudication, Mediation and Arbitration in Singapore Knowledge in FIDIC entitlement Success in Variation, Extension of Time (EOT), Loss and Expenses Claims under PSSCOC Subcontractor claims management Disruption and acceleration claims Work location: Tuas Nexus
