About this role
Role: Senior Network Engineer (Must Have MPLS) JD: - Design, configure, and maintain enterprise MPLS and Enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching and Firewall). - Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability. - Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. - Implement network changes, upgrades, and optimizations in line with industry best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT and business requirements. - Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and incidents. - Ensure compliance with network security policies and standards. - Manage Servers supporting network devices and ensure they are patched to latest version (Windows) - Provide technical consultancy for system onboarding to MPLS network infra. Qualifications - Strong knowledge and practical experience with Switching (VLAN, STP, Trunking, Port Security, etc.). - Hands-on experience with Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP). - Min 5 years Hands-on working experience with large-scale MPLS network configuration (P/PE/CE router, VRF, VRF Route fusion). - Experience in configuring and managing Cisco/Juniper/Aruba or equivalent enterprise networking devices. - Handson Experience with Cisco ISE, DNAC and F5 Load balancers - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and general IP addressing. - Knowledge of Windows Servers and workstation Patching. - Working knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc.). - Familiarity with network security concepts (IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust, etc.). - Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, WUG, Veeam Backup, SyslogNG . - Exposure to cloud networking and VPC management (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Knowledge of Windows Servers/Hyper-V management. (AD, CA, SMTP, DNS, WSUS, etc).
