Key Responsibilities Platform Engineering & Containerisation • Design, deploy, administer, and support Kubernetes-based container platforms such as OpenShift, Rancher, AKS, and EKS • Manage platform components including ingress controllers, container registries, storage, load balancers, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions • Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and high availability across cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments DevOps & Automation • Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Argo CD, Terraform, and Ansible • Support infrastructure automation, deployment standardisation, and configuration management initiatives • Drive platform automation and operational efficiency improvements through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices API Gateway & Integration Platforms • Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise API Gateway platforms including Apigee, IBM API Connect, and Kong Gateway • Manage API lifecycle activities including API design, deployment, versioning, publishing, security, monitoring, and governance • Collaborate with development and integration teams to support secure and scalable API services Middleware & Enterprise Systems • Install, configure, administer, and support middleware platforms including IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and IBM MQ • Troubleshoot platform, middleware, and integration issues to ensure service reliability and operational stability Monitoring & Observability • Implement and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Azure Monitor, and CloudWatch • Support proactive monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management processes • Analyse system performance metrics and recommend optimisation strategies Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related technical domains • Experience managing Kubernetes components including ingress, storage, networking, RBAC, and cluster scaling • Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Argo CD, Terraform, and Ansible • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and deployment automation practices • Hands-on experience with API gateways such as Apigee, IBM API Connect, or Kong, including API lifecycle management (security, versioning, monitoring) • Experience supporting middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and IBM MQ • Hands-on experience with enterprise observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch • Good understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/hybrid) • Familiarity with high-availability, scalable, and secure enterprise platform environments • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Interested candidates may send in their resume and cover letter directly to gem.cabria@manpower.com.sg (R1434374), stating the position as the subject title in the email.
