Senior Research and Development Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead electrochemical cell design and scaling of acid‑neutralisation and air‑contactor systems from lab to pilot to commercial. Validate commercial designs with pilot data, coordinate with commercial partners, and drive IP development. Key Responsibilities • Design & optimise electrochemical cells for scalability and efficiency. • Scale acid‑neutralisation systems from lab data; define pilot design/operating windows. • Validate commercial designs (carbonation/acid neutralisation, heavy‑metal remediation) using pilotresults. • Translate air‑contactor concepts into manufacturable product designs; resolve scale‑up challenges. • Act as technical liaison with partners (design, construction, commissioning alignment). • Direct IP strategy with counsel; draft invention disclosures and support patent filings. • Manage multi‑workstream project plans, deliverables, risks, and reporting. Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related. • 6–10+ years in electrochemical R&D with pilot validation and productidation exposure. • Strong system‑level thinking and partner management.
