About this role
• Enhance BU management aligning with direction from HQ in Japan and maintain the relationship with key customers from Japanese bank and their system deliveries. • Develop IT business (system integration business or any other new business) to Japanese financial institution customers continuously. • Establish BU mid-term business plans align with IT strategy of customers from Japanese bank in APAC. • Design own team expansion plan (functionalities and resources). • Govern overall BU business and achieve the goals of NEC APAC mid-term business plan. • Manage high priority IT implementation projects, collaborating with HQ in Japan and other countries within NEC Group. • Update and report to Business Unit Head timely. • Enhance Team member capability with effective coaching and strategic hiring. Job Requirements: • Degree in Commerce or equivalent. • Minimum 10 years of IT Sales experience for Japanese financial institution. • Minimum 10 years of IT project coordination experience for Japanese financial institution. • Experience in IT Sales in Asia region. • Required business development skill. • Proven ability to work in large groups. • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate team members. • Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills and ability to interact with all levels. • Experience in working with a diverse, geographically remote team. • Strong presentation skills and ability to write professionally in both English and Japanese. • Proficiency in the Japanese language (JLPT N1) to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese customers.
