Service Engineer – Gangway Key Responsibilities • Travel internationally and offshore to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced marine and offshore equipment • Carry out installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance activities at customer sites and onboard vessels • Provide technical support and fault diagnosis remotely, delivering practical and customer focused solutions • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and system performance assessments to ensure operational reliability • Support product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives • Deliver technical training to vessel crews and customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures • Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and recommendations following site visits • Work independently in the field while collaborating closely with engineering and support teams • Expect approximately 60% international travel and offshore assignments throughout the year Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maritime Engineering, or a related discipline • Ability and willingness to work offshore and travel extensively worldwide • Willingness to be based outside of Singapore • Experience on maintenance or troubleshooting of motorised/ hydraulic access gangways is a MUST (At least 5 years) • Experience or exposure to electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems • Knowledge of hydraulic systems would be advantageous • Experience with PLC systems and software would be an advantage • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues • Hands on approach with a proactive attitude • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment • Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction • Good command of spoken and written English • Capable of working autonomously in remote locations and across different time zones What's on Offer • Opportunity to work with advanced offshore and marine equipment on global projects • Extensive international travel and offshore exposure • Structured training and ongoing professional development • Career progression opportunities within a growing international organisation • Dynamic and technically challenging work environment • Exposure to cutting edge technologies supporting the offshore energy and maritime sectors
