Job Summary Coordinate and manage shipping operations to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics processes and resolve shipment issues efficiently. Responsibilities • Coordinate shipping arrangements and advise customers on optimal shipping methods to meet delivery requirements • Prepare, assemble, and verify shipping documentation ensuring compliance with trade regulations • Process shipment bookings with freight forwarders and coordinate delivery schedules to meet deadlines • Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, overseas agents, and internal departments to clarify shipment requirements • Manage order fulfilment by coordinating packing instructions with warehouse personnel • Create gate passes, allocate costs to appropriate cost centres, and maintain accurate shipment records • Update shipping information and requirements in SAP and internal tracking systems for real-time monitoring • Monitor shipment status proactively and resolve delivery issues to prevent delays • Prepare essential shipping documents including booking confirmations, bills of lading, and manifests • Perform DRP re-screening checks using GTS/LGP systems to ensure compliance • Manage ECCN requirements and update Bill of Lading information in SAP accurately • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping process efficiency • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager Preferred competencies and qualifications • Basic understanding of logistics, transportation operations and world geography • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment • Fresh candidates with relevant logistics knowledge are encouraged to apply Oi Shiao Chin (EA Personnel No.: R1102311) Semiko Recruitment & Consultants Pte Ltd (EA License No.: 96C4777)
