Software Engineer (.NET) / 8Months Contract

Location: Punggol Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours Job Type: Contract (8-months) What You’ll Do • Design and develop backend services, APIs, and real-time communication systems for IoT applications • Build device-to-cloud integrations using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and WebSockets • Develop scalable data pipelines for IoT data processing and storage • Integrate IoT systems with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise backend services for reliability, scalability, and security • Collaborate with firmware, cloud, and frontend teams on end-to-end system integration What We’re Looking For • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend or IoT backend development • Proficient in C# and .NET development • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Experience with messaging technologies such as MQTT, Kafka, or AMQP • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipeline design By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy(scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
