About this role
Responsibilities • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),End-to-End Testing, and Regression Testing. • Validate banking and wealth management workflows, transactions, and system integrations. • Perform API and interface testing to ensure seamless integration between applications. • Identify, document, track, and manage defects through to resolution. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. • Participate in requirement workshops, impact assessments, and solution review sessions. • Prepare test plans, test reports, and testing documentation in accordance with project standards. • Support release activities and ensure successful deployment of system enhancements. • Conduct functional walkthroughs, knowledge transfer sessions, and user training where required. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices. • Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and testing status reports to stakeholders. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. • Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing. • Hands-on experience with banking, financial services, or wealth management applications. • Exposure to Avaloq or similar core banking platforms is highly preferred. • Experience in API testing, integration testing, and defect management. • Strong understanding in Agile methodologies. • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS, or similar platforms. • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and assess system impacts. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. • Experience facilitating workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. • ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is an added advantage.
