Join us for a 12-week internship program on a voluneer basis to gain experience on working with teens and adults with autism and other disabilities. Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young adults with autism? Join us as a Special Needs Support Intern and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. In this role, you will work closely with our lead trainer to support intervention sessions for young adults (16 years and above) on the autism spectrum. This is a unique opportunity to step into a purposeful role where every session makes a difference. What You'll Do: • Assist the main trainer in facilitating group sessions and activities • Support students in tasks engagement and social interaction • Observe and learn various evidence-based strategies used in intervention What You'll Gain: • Hands-on experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum • Exposure to therapeutic and educational strategies used in real sessions • Development of communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills • Insight into careers in Psychology, Special Education, Therapy, and Social Work Who We're Looking For: • Individuals who are patient, compassionate, and open to learning • Those with an interest in Psychology, Inclusive Education, Social Work, or related fields • No prior experience required, just a heart to learn and contribute • Males preferred, as majority of the students are males • Flexible work days/hours can be discussed.
