The successful candidate will work closely with senior specialists and management across all aspects of auction operations, including research, cataloguing, client servicing, exhibition preparation, and online auction management. This position requires dedication, humility, attention to detail, and a willingness to work hard under pressure. 33 Auction is a leading Southeast Asian auction house dedicated to presenting exceptional works of modern and contemporary art through live and online auctions. Key Responsibilities• Assist the department in researching and cataloguing Modern & Contemporary artworks. • Support specialists in preparing auction catalogues, condition reports, provenance research, and exhibition materials. • Coordinate artwork handling, photography, inventory management, and sale administration. • Assist with client enquiries, bidding coordination, and post-sale procedures. • Support the execution of live and online auctions, including weekend and extended-hour work during auction periods. • Conduct market research on artists, auction trends, and regional art developments. • Learn and develop expertise in valuation, authentication, and client relationship management under the guidance of senior specialists. Requirements• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Management, or related fields preferred. • Strong interest in Modern & Contemporary art and the international auction industry. • A positive attitude with willingness to learn from the ground up. • Able to work under pressure and manage demanding schedules during auction seasons. • Strong work ethic, discipline, and resilience. • Willingness to endure challenges and contribute beyond regular responsibilities when required. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability. • Good communication and writing skills in English; additional Asian language skills are advantageous. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital literacy.
