STUDENTWELFARE & DISCIPLINE SUPPORT OFFICER SINGAPOREANS/PRs ONLY ($3,000-$6,000) IMMEDIATE LOCATION Islandwide JOB SUMMARY TheDiscipline & Investigation Assistant supports the school in maintaining asafe, respectful, and orderly learning environment by assisting in themanagement of student discipline matters. The role involves conductingpreliminary investigations into student-related incidents, gatheringstatements, and documenting findings in accordance with school policies and MOEguidelines. JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Investigative & Case Support • Assist in conductingpreliminary investigations and fact-finding interviews regarding minorincidents. • Obtain student and witnessstatements where appropriate and compile evidence and prepare structuredincident reports to relevant KPs for directions. 2. Detention and Ignite Plus FollowUp • Supervise students are assignedfor either detention • Ensure students completeassigned tasks during detention. • Follow up with form teachersfor students assigned for and have missed their detention. • Ensure detention tasks aremeaningful and developmental in nature. 3. In-House Suspension Support • Support school staff inmanaging students sent out of class, on internal suspension and who are missingfrom class. • Support learning continuityduring suspension through liaising with form teachers. 4. Administrative Support • Perform data entry support forlate-coming, offences and interventions. • Compile weekly or monthlydiscipline statistics when required. • Assist in monitoring studentreporting channel. • Always maintain confidentialityof student information. • Review detention, late comingand corrective work processes during the holidays. 5. Any other duties administrative and operational duties pertaining to student management that are assigned by the Authority during the period of employment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Skills and experience: • GCE / Diploma / Degree • The Personnel should preferablybe able to use Microsoft Office applications and collaborative tools in Google. • The Personnel should preferablyhave 3 years working experience in uniformed service background (Police, PrisonService or equivalent), with involvement in youth-related case investigation. • The Personnel should havestrong communication and interpersonal skills. • The Personnel should have theability to multitask, work independently and in a team. • The Personnel should have acalm disposition and able to handle challenging student situations.
