Executive (Part-Time) – Defence Industries Association (DEFINA) Location: Singapore Commitment: Part-Time (2 days per week) About DEFINA The Defence Industries Association (DEFINA) represents Singapore-based companies involved in defence, security, and dual-use technologies. We work closely with industry partners, international organisations, and government stakeholders to strengthen Singapore’s defence ecosystem. Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and personable Executive to support the association’s daily operations, member engagement, and event coordination activities. Key Responsibilities • • Collate and maintain member information and records • • Follow up with members on participation in overseas exhibitions and trade shows • • Liaise with international exhibition organisers and partners • • Maintain strong relationships with members through regular communication and updates • • Manage and update DEFINA’s LinkedIn account with relevant industry articles and announcements • • Update and maintain the association’s website content • • Support the EXCO committee in organising events, meetings, and initiatives Requirements & Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable engaging with industry stakeholders and international partners • Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, basic design software) • Able to create simple marketing materials, brochures, and social media content • Organised and detail-oriented Personality Traits • Cheerful and positive attitude • Outgoing and enjoys meeting people • Patient and able to manage follow-ups effectively • Self-driven and responsible Why Join DEFINA • Exposure to Singapore’s growing defence and security industry • Opportunity to engage with international exhibitions and global partners • Flexible working arrangement (2 days per week) • Build strong industry network across defence, marine, and technology sectors How to Apply Interested applicants can send their CV and a short introduction to treasurer.defina@gmail.com
