About NEXFT NEXFT is an early-stage Singapore-based AI startup building "digital employee" solutions across three areas: AI HR, AI Customer Service, and AI Compliance. Our clients are in finance, manufacturing, data centers, and logistics — industries with heavy manual workflows and repetitive information processing, where AI can meaningfully reduce workload and human error. We have active paying clients, real deployments in production, and support from Singapore government innovation programs. Small team, fast pace, real impact. The Role You'll work directly with the founders to make sure our AI products actually work in real client environments — not just in demos. Expect to test a new AI HR workflow in the morning, help deploy a compliance bot at a client site in the afternoon, and write up bugs before the day ends. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes seeing AI products go from "it works on my laptop" to "it's running in a bank's back office." What You'll Do QA & Testing — Test AI workflows, web apps, and automation tools across our HR, CS, and compliance products. Find bugs, edge cases, and usability issues before clients do. Deployment Support — Help onboard new clients: software setup, integrations, and occasional hardware (tablets, kiosks, on-prem servers for finance / data center clients with strict data requirements). Security & Reliability Checks — Basic vulnerability awareness and data handling reviews — important because our clients are in regulated industries. Client Troubleshooting — Support clients during onboarding and early usage, in English and (ideally) Mandarin. You Should Have Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field Comfortable with QA, troubleshooting, and picking up unfamiliar tools quickly Strong written English; Mandarin is a strong plus — many of our finance and manufacturing clients operate primarily in Mandarin Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, or n8n Familiar with APIs, Linux/Windows troubleshooting, basic networking Any web app testing or security testing experience Curiosity about LLMs and AI agents — you don't need to be an expert, but you should want to learn Why This Role Is Interesting See how AI products actually get deployed in regulated industries (finance, data centers) — most interns never get this exposure Direct access to founders, real client conversations, real production systems Clear path to convert to a longer-term role if it's a fit Logistics Singapore-based, hybrid (mostly remote, occasional onsite for client deployments) ⏱️ 20 hours per week, flexible around studies (minimum 3 months commitment) Stipend: SGD 1,000 – 1,300 per month Strong performers may convert to full-time or extended contract How to Apply Send your CV (and GitHub / portfolio if you have one) to [alex@nexft.com.sg]
