Job Description · We are seeking an experienced UAT Lead/Manager with strong expertise in the Digital Banking domain to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality banking applications. · The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end UAT planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, defect management, and production validation while ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality standards. · This role requires close collaboration with Business Teams, Product Owners, Developers, QA Teams, and Business Analysts to ensure smooth delivery of digital banking solutions. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to define UAT scope and strategy • Design and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for UAT validation • Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT Testing • Lead end-to-end UAT cycles for Digital Banking applications and platforms • Identify, log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using defect management tools • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Teams, Business Analysts, and Business Users • Validate bug fixes and ensure timely defect closure within agreed SLA timelines • Prepare and maintain UAT documentation, execution reports, defect reports, and status dashboards • Participate in requirement review sessions and provide testability and risk assessment feedback • Support production validation, release verification, and post-deployment testing • Ensure adherence to QA processes, governance standards, and best testing practices • Coordinate with stakeholders for sign-offs and successful UAT completion • Drive continuous improvement in UAT processes and testing efficiency Required Skills & Qualifications • 4–9 years of relevant experience in UAT, Manual Testing, or QA Testing • Strong experience in Digital Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or Core Banking platforms • Proven experience managing UAT cycles and stakeholder coordination • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle • Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT Testing • Experience in writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation • Strong experience with defect tracking tools such a s JIRA, HP ALM, Quality Center, etc. • Strong understanding of banking workflows, customer journeys, and digital banking processes • Ability to analyze business requirements and ensure complete test coverage • Strong defect validation, reporting, and closure management skills • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments • Exposure to Payments, Cards, Lending, CASA, or Retail Banking modules • Experience in release management and production validation • Basic understanding of SQL, API Testing, and integration testing • Prior experience in managing UAT teams or leading business testing initiatives
