Visual Communication & Experience Design Intern

Duration: (6 months) Job Description: We are seeking a creative Visual Communication & Marketing Intern with an interest in niche fragrances. This role focuses on translating scent into visual storytelling and strengthening the consumer experience both online and offline. As fragrance cannot be experienced digitally, you will help communicate the essence of our products through thoughtful visuals, content creation, and marketing initiatives. Your work will support brand awareness, deepen consumer understanding, and contribute to sales growth. Responsibility: • Visual Communication: Develop creative and visually compelling content that communicates the unique qualities and stories behind Scent Journer fragrances. Translate scent concepts into visual narratives that help consumers imagine and understand the fragrance experience. Including photography, AI, graphics, and short-form videos. • Offline Experience: Assist in developing packaging concepts, point-of-sale materials, and physical brand collaterals. Support visual presentation for events, product launches, and retail displays. • Creative Marketing Initiatives: Contribute ideas for lean marketing campaigns, collaborations, and storytelling concepts that build brand awareness and drive sales. Support initiatives that improve product presentation and average order value, including visual merchandising and product bundles. Requirements: • Strong interest in branding, visual storytelling, and niche fragrances. • Ability to create visual content (photography, design, or short-form video). • Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and brand consistency. • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute marketing ideas. • Proactive and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. • Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred. • Experience creating content for XiaoHongShu is a strong advantage. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys translating sensory ideas into visual narratives while gaining exposure to branding, content creation, and marketing within a niche fragrance house.
