About this role
Responsibilities • Mentor and support identified students over a 6-month period to foster holistic academic and socio-emotional development • Provide academic and socio-emotional support to students during school hours to enhance their well-being and learning outcomes • Conduct house visits and escort students to school to ensure their safety and engagement • Plan and facilitate after-school intervention and engagement programmes on Tuesdays to address student needs and promote positive growth • Build positive relationships with students through mentoring activities to encourage trust and open communication • Monitor students’ progress, identify emerging needs, and report concerns to school leaders for timely intervention • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve student support programmes based on observed outcomes • Collaborate closely with Year Heads, Assistant Year Heads, and other school personnel to align support efforts • Maintain professionalism and uphold school expectations during all student and staff engagements Requirements: • Experience in mentoring, youth work, education, or counselling • Registered Social Worker or Registered Social WorkPractitioner with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in youthwork or social work • Preferably experienced in school social work andschool-based settings • Experience working with children and youths incommunity settings will be considered • Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and casemanagement skills • Able to engage and support students with diverseacademic and socio-emotional needs
