3 Months - Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst

We are urgently hiring for a detail-oriented professional to support our Financial Compliance team. You will play a critical role in mitigating risks related to money laundering, sanctions, and terrorist financing by ensuring rigorous screening and due diligence processes are upheld.  Job title: AML Analyst Work location: CBD Contract term: 3 months (extendable) Job Responsibilities: • Review and disposition screening alerts generated by automated screening tools. Identify true matches versus false positives and document decision rationale in accordance with internal procedures.  • Escalate confirmed or potential sanctions matches to the Compliance Manager within prescribed timelines.  • Support the KYC onboarding and periodic review process by performing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) checks on new and existing customers.  • Review and assess the adequacy of customer risk profiles, source of wealth/funds documentation, and ultimate beneficial ownership structures. Identify discrepancies or red flags in customer information and escalate appropriately.  • Review alerts and transaction monitoring reports to identify any suspicious activity indicative of money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crime. Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the relevant authorities in a timely and accurate manner. • Assist the Head of Compliance in any other regulatory or internal matters as advised.  Skills and Qualifications: • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in AML screening, KYC, transaction monitoring, or financial crime compliance within the financial services sector.  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Exceptional analytical and investigative skills.  How to Apply   Should you be keen, please send your cv to kaylenicoleilijay@morganmckinely.com or reach out to me at +639 753 634 663.
