Application Security Consultant (Audit and Testing)

We are seeking an Application Security Consultant to assess and validate the security posture of applications and supporting infrastructure. The role focuses on reviewing security testing activities, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities• Review and validate results from security testing tools such as SAST and DAST • Perform vulnerability assessments across applications, systems, and databases • Analyse security scan outputs and validate findings, including identifying false positives • Assess system hardening and configuration compliance with security standards • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support remediation efforts • Maintain documentation on vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and remediation tracking • Support internal and external audits related to application and infrastructure security • Prepare reports summarising findings, risk ratings, and recommended actions • Monitor emerging threats and security best practices Requirements• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or security auditing • Hands-on experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or similar • Understanding of vulnerability management and security testing concepts • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or similar is preferred Key Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to interpret security findings and priorities remediation • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Interested applicants please send your resume in MS Words format toprasant.sirohi@ambition.com.sg and attention to Prasant Sirohi (R22106307) Shortlisted candidates will be notified www.ambition.com.sg EA Registration Number: R22106307 Dataprovided is for recruitment purposes only Business Registration Number: 200611680D.
