About this role
• Own the full lifecycle of business-critical applications: Application support andenhancement (L2 and L3) • Act as the key systems authority and subject matter expert for assigned businesssolutions • Work closely with the Solution Architects, Infrastructure Architects and othertechnical team leads to ensure any proposed solutions fully integrate withexisting and developing architectural patterns. • Produce clear technical and functional documentation • Monitor technical activity for assigned business solutions, highlighting major issuesand formulating solutions. • Where necessary, work with project managers to ensure designs and technical deliverables meet project objectives. Key Responsibilities Development &Engineering • Design, build, test, and maintain web and desktop applications • Apply OOP and design patterns; adhere to coding standards and SDLC best practices. • Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Application Support & Operations (L2/L3) • Own incident, problem, and service requests for responsible solutions; troubleshoot and resolve defects. • Monitor stability, performance, and availability; drive MTTR reduction and root-cause remediation. • Coordinate with Production/Operations for deployments and after-hours releases as needed. • Architecture, Security & Compliance • Align designs with Solution and Infrastructure Architecture patterns; seek formal validations when required. • Ensure compliance with internal/external audit, security, and regulatory requirements. Documentation &Knowledge • Create and maintain high-quality functional, non-functional, and technical design documents. • Author user guides, support runbooks, and knowledge articles to enable self-service and faster resolution. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 4–6+years combined experience across application development and application support (Level 2/3). • Hands-on troubleshooting of enterprise applications and integrations. • Exposure to solution design or application architecture. • Experience in supporting a Middle office program or CRM Systems Eg.
