About this role
Job Summary As a Tech Officer, you will manage system enhancement projects, oversee budgets, liaise with stakeholders, support governance, and improve business processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and trusted system operations. Responsibilities • Manage project timelines and deliver system enhancement requests on schedule • Oversee project budgets, including approval and tender processes, ensuring financial compliance • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Approvals of Requests for necessary authorizations • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather system-related inputs and secure buy-in for project success • Identify user requirements from employees and industry stakeholders to enhance system integrity and trust • Support programme governance by preparing regular progress updates and assessments for senior management decisions • Review and redesign licensing and regulatory business processes to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy • Perform system administration tasks such as account creation and termination while ensuring compliance with government IT policies and the Government Instruction Manual • Develop, review, and maintain Business Continuity Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines for company systems • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders to handle inquiries effectively • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Collaborate as a responsible, disciplined team player to achieve project goals Required competencies and certifications • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of project management experience • Experience managing projects involving system enhancement and development • Familiarity with budget approval and procurement processes • Proficiency in written and spoken English • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred competencies and qualifications • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or software/systems development • Ability to bridge language barriers between IT and non-IT personnel Interested candidates, please click on the following link to begin your job search journey and submit your curriculum vitae (CV) directly through the official PERSOL job application platform - GO.
