Job Summary The hiring team is seeking an Assistant Officer – Business Administration & Logistics Execution (Contract Role) to support downstream supply chain operations and warehouse coordination activities. This role focuses on processing transactional shipping documentation, invoice preparation, and tracking inventory movements between warehouses and project installation sites. It is highly suitable for entry-level Nitec or Diploma holders who are execution-oriented, organized, and keen to gain hands-on experience in cross-border logistics. Employment Details • Industry: Elevators & Escalators (Supply Chain Operations / Logistics Execution) • Location: Singapore (Jurong East vicinity) • Nearest MRT: Jurong East • Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable / Extendable) • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. • Salary: S$2,500 – S$3,500 (depending on qualifications and experience) • Completion Bonus: Awarded upon successful contract completion Key Responsibilities 1. Billing, Invoicing & Documentation • Prepare precise billing invoices and mandatory shipping documents for overseas customers and distributors. • Verify incoming and outgoing shipment details upon receipt to ensure data integrity. • Sort, file, and organize international shipping instructions and records accurately. 2. Freight Forwarder & Warehouse Coordination • Coordinate, monitor, and follow up closely with shippers, consignees, and freight forwarders. • Liaise directly with vendor warehouses to align stock levels and tracking records. • Coordinate daily transportation arrangements between warehouses and site installation teams to prevent project delays. 3. Inventory Control & Operations Support • Upkeep systematic records of warehouse storage capacities and product movements. • Liaise with internal H-companies (subsidiaries) and regional distributors across 11 countries to handle routine updates. • Perform other related administrative or operational duties as directed by the supervisor. Requirements • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Shipping Operations, Logistics, or related field. • Entry-level candidates with zero experience are welcome to apply (training provided). • Comfortable handling repetitive documentation work, invoice tracking, and checking shipping data. • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). • Prior exposure to basic warehouse tracking or simple inventory systems is an advantage.
