Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) Location: Singapore Employment Type: 1+1 year contract We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of structural-related projects within a large-scale, high-profile development environment in Singapore. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, reviewing technical documentation, managing stakeholders, and supporting the successful execution of structural works from planning through completion. Candidates currently working as Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Construction Engineers, or Assistant Project Managers with relevant structural project experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Support the Senior Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of structural and infrastructure-related projects. • Review and interpret structural drawings, technical specifications, engineering calculations, and project documentation. • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved. • Monitor project schedules, deliverables, risks, and project milestones. • Facilitate project meetings and technical discussions, ensuring timely follow-up on action items. • Review technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, inspection reports, and engineering documentation. • Assist in resolving technical, design, and site-related issues during project execution. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and project requirements. • Track project progress and prepare regular reports and updates for management review. • Support contract administration, change management, and project documentation processes where required. Requirements • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, project engineering, or project delivery. • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies. • Ability to read, understand, and interpret structural drawings and engineering documentation independently. • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across consultants, contractors, and project teams. • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is not required. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management/document control tools.
